Students

We are a small practice based in Richmond, Surrey, operating mainly in the education and private residential sectors.

We regularly recruit Part 1 and Part 2 (newly qualified or with some Part 2 experience).

John Rich Architects is a practice which places great emphasis on detailing; students are presented with the chance to develop skills in the planning and construction of education and high specification residential projects. Many of our projects are extensions and remodeling of listed buildings.

We offer the opportunity to take responsibility for the development of projects under supervision, from inception to completion. Previous colleagues have used these projects as case studies for their Part 3 qualification.

We generally look for candidates with some technical and constructional competence, a proficiency in AutoCAD linked to an awareness of IT and the ability to work in a team.
