John established the practice over 30 years ago after a highly regarded career within the GLC Department of Architecture. A passion for west London and establishing his family home meant he understood the mutually inclusive relationship between the demands of contemporary family living within architecturally protected areas through responsive design.

“Social Purpose in architecture has led to our approach, arguably mainly intuitive, our practice has become what it is today- a studio where our ambition is to create humane, intimate, and exciting spaces that will create a sense of repose and well-being. We seek to achieve this by an intense discussion of materials, details and sustainability at a very beginning of the design process.”
