Meet the Team

  • John Rich

    Director

John studied architecture at Brixton School of Building and the Architectural Association School. He established the practice over 30 years ago after a highly regarded career within the GLC Department of Architecture. A passion for west London and establishing his family home meant he understood the mutually inclusive relationship between the demands of contemporary family living within architecturally protected areas through responsive design.

  • Athena Young

    Associate

Athena started her career within the picturesque location of Queenstown, New Zealand working on high-end holiday homes primarily for overseas based clients. A passion for contemporary functional spaces and contextually sensitive design meant settling in London to work with John Rich was an easy decision.

  • Sara Spiga

    Architect

Sara joined John Rich Architects in 2018 having worked in large and small scale practices both in London and Italy. Sara completed her studies in Cagliari and has extensive working experience in Residential and Conservation Areas and oversees projects at various stages.

  • Clare Salter

    Architect

Joining John Rich Architects in early 2013, Clare has been involved in a wide variety of projects, from small houses to large scale commercial schemes. Clare completed her Masters of Architecture from Kingston University in 2016 and accomplished her registration in 2022.

“We have used John Rich Architects for the interior and exterior remodelling of our previous property and our current house. Their attention to detail is exemplary from the initial consultations through to design detailing, specifications and project management. We always felt we were in good hands throughout the process. The remodelling and transformation of the living space and the exterior features was undertaken with ingenuity and creativity while maintaining a high level of sympathy for the vernacular.” - Sandra
